mixing freely does work. youre not gonna hit everytime but sometimes the freely mixed stuff turns into the new standard for referencing. good video but stop putting limitations on art. aint no rules to this shit

Thanks for the tutorial, I'm a complete beginner with audio plugins. I'm working on a short animation and need a simple pan effect for a character walking from left to right. I've managed to get it to pan from left to right but I can't stop it moving back again towards the center. I just want it to pan left to right slowly then stop. Is this possible? If so could somebody point out the settings I'll need to tweak to achieve this effect, Thank again.

Thanks for this great explanation detailing all the technical listening variations. I am always wondering how to gauge my backing tracks for live performance to avoid being too loud but comfortable to the audience. As a guitarist/singer it's quite hard to access the way to monitor or pre level them on my ipad. I run my tracks through Waves XLM to view them at -6dB peak but first I set the normalize region gain so all my tracks don't exceed -6dB in Logic Pro. So far it has been balanced reasonably well but I'm sure that I could probably do more with perceived frequencies. Appreciate any pointers, many thanks for this video 🙂

Which de-essers do I have and use? Techivation T-de-esser was the first, then others like the SSL De-ess, Eiosis E2DeEsser, and Harrison DeEsser. I have a perpetual license for the SSL, Techivation T-de-esser was free, and the Eiosis and Harrison are in the SSL Slate Complete. I'm using Eiosis currently. PS I use those same Klanghelm Vu meters in neon too.

I've noticed PI is on sale right now but also I've read people having negative experiences with PI making strange sounds on basses and synths. I'm tempted to buy it, but it's a lot of money for a plugin that could do more damage than good. I'm looking for opinions.

hello, late comment : i wonder if when you change say your decay, it will affect ONLY one drum sample e.g one of your drumkicks or will it affect all the samples that you've put in ? in other words, if i change the decay, will it change the decay for all my samples that i've put in the sampler ? thank you
